Challenge

For the League of Legends World Championships 2018, Riot Games Germany tasked Mothership to amplify awareness and generate new users with a campaign themed around the song POP/STARS.

Produced in collaboration with K-Pop band K/DA, the song features characters available as skins in League of Legends.

Due to the vast reach and excellent targeting options, Mothership recommended a programmatic campaign using specifically designed animated image creatives targeting core gamer audiences, relevant music genres and League of Legends fan-sites.
